A New Chapter in My Photography Journey

After dedicating over a decade to real estate photography, I'm excited to announce the rebirth of my personal website at mattvardy.com. From 2005 to 2013, I had a personal site where I shared a wide range of photography projects—from live music to portraits, and even capturing celebrities and professional athletes. However, in 2013, I made the decision to shut it down and focus exclusively on real estate photography. This focus led to the creation of Vardy Media, which has since become Southern Ontario’s most trusted name in real estate media.

Over the years, my work has been driven by a commitment to excellence and innovation, collaborating with top-producing realtors, international property developers, and luxury auction and rental companies. While I’m proud of what I’ve achieved in the real estate space, I’ve come to realize that there’s so much more to my craft that I’ve missed sharing with the world.

Before my venture into real estate, I was deeply immersed in music photography, building a brand that eventually evolved into #livemusicTO, a music news and promotion company. From 2007 to 2012, I spent countless nights in dive bars around the GTA, capturing the raw energy of friends' bands and touring across Canada with musicians. One of the most memorable moments in my career was in 2012, when Coldplay's management approved my application to shoot their show at the Air Canada Centre. Standing so close to a world-famous band and capturing those incredible shots was a dream come true.

Now, as I revive my personal website, I’m excited to showcase a more diverse range of photography projects, including portraits, live music, weddings, celebrity shoots, and more. This site represents a return to my roots and a reconnection with the passion projects that originally ignited my creative spark. I’ll also be maintaining a blog where I’ll share insights, stories, and experiences from this new chapter.
